This one is from the Hopalong Cassidy movie called The Dead Don't Dream.There was actually a real murder committed here across the way in the 1950's. Someone was shot and killed, and the killer was sent to prison.
Here is a picture from the Hoppy movie. Interesting enough, it too is about a murder, but was filmed a few years earlier than the real life murder. Life imitating art. ;)
The area is a bit worn down since 1948, but this is it. The mine is still there.

I took a picture of the inside. It would have been nice to walk into it, but being trapped alone in a mine is not something I really would enjoy. So, this will have to do.
